GETTING TO THE APARTMENT:

To get from Athens Airport (ATH) to Tsami Karatsou Str 3, you can take the M3 Metro blue line from the airport towards Dimotiko Theatro. The journey takes about 40 minutes, and tickets cost €10. At Syntagma Square, transfer to the M2 Metro red line towards Ellinikon. After two stops, get off at Syngrou-Fix station, which is the closest to Tsami Karatsou Str 3. From the metro station, it’s just a 4-minute walk: exit the station, head towards Syngrou Avenue, walk about 100 meters, then turn left onto Tsami Karatsou Str. The total trip takes around 55 minutes.

Check in is at 3pm. Early check-in may be possible depending on previous day occupancy. Otherwise storage rentals are available in the immediate area for a small fee.

TRASH AND RECYCLING:

Please note that we sort waste by trash and recycling. All recycling (glass, plastic and paper ) is collected and disposed of together. Household trash can be thrown out at any green dumpster on the street and recycling can be placed in the blue dumpsters. The closest dumpsters to the apartment are located right in front of the building on Tsami Karatasou str.

KITCHEN OVEN AND TOPS:

The oven and tops are fully functional. When using the kitchen tops, please switch on the overhead extractor . Select the desired fan speed from the hood and a overhead lamp can also be accessed from there. We usually open the kitchen window and turn on the extractor to avoid cooking smells permeating in the apartment.

CHECK OUT

Please make sure all doors and windows are closed, as well as all electrical devices have been switched off. When ready to leave, please set the apartment keys on the dining table and close the door behind you. After leaving the apartment please send me a text to confirm that the cleaners may enter the apartment.

SMOKING:

Smoking is only allowed on the terrace. Please do not smoke in the apartment.

 

QUIET TIME:

Please note that common quiet hours are observed from 3pm to 5pm daily. 

 

COOLING AND HEATING:

There are three AC units to cool and heat the apartment.

During the winter months, heat is provided by the building from 6pm to 10pm daily.

Hot water is set on a timer. In the event that hot water is not available, please contact me to give you instructions on how to switch on the boiler manually.
